Astrox 99 Tour or Astrox 99 Pro?

Both rackets follow the same concept: head-heavy balance, an offensive setup and the same core technologies (Rotational Generator System, 2G-Namd™ Flex Force, Power-Assist Bumper). The differences are in the details:

• Astrox 99 Pro: the flagship of the series – Shot Information Connector and Lightweight End Cap deliver even more direct feedback at impact and that final bit of smash power.
• Astrox 99 Tour: Built-in T-Joint and Energy Boost Cap Plus, made in Taiwan – a little more forgiving to handle and noticeably easier on the wallet, with a similar feel on court.

What it means on court: the Pro is the more uncompromising of the two – heavier through the head, more feedback in the hand, and it asks for a clean, fast swing which it repays with maximum power. The Tour swings through a touch more easily, forgives off-centre hits and is kinder on the wrist over long matches – in return it gives up the last percent of punch on the smash. If you play tournaments regularly and your technique is solid, go for the Pro. For everyone else the Tour is the smarter buy: a similar feel for less money.
